Consumer no more. No Restroom, No Customer Service, "No Money."

My first question, "What service do they provide in the community? I consider my investment. I am purposeful with my investment, I'm no longer a consumer. I refuse to support things I don't want to exist. Dry up the dollars and see the attention you get. We have power on all levels available to us. Get the correct foundation and resources, YAH will do the rest, get into action!!!! You will be the best, forget the rest, Impress yourself!!

Willie Lynch The Making Of A Slave

The willie lynch story is at www.thetalkingdrum,com

The is a great source of truly passionate sharing of knowledge. i've been a fan for over 10 years. Check it out. It has so much to gather in and learn about. The article listed above is a good read, but not a reason for excuses. The debate of Willie's existence and the story are a waste of time, despite who, why, the fact remains it seems to depict our social culture and conditions. Willie Lynch in all his forms, even Jesse Jackson lynched us with disrespecting the President, that is the willie in us. CALL IT what you want , we need to actively address thhe scars of U.S. Slavery on the mindset on our families. Whether drugs or guns shot by KKK or a Blood, our response is unsatisfactory. Getting a good job or "being blacker than you" the mental tricks are just games of untruth. Stop being fooled or playing along to be invisible.

What can we do? Committ to live in as much truth as you understand. The meek shall inherit the Earth, you are the Earth, inherit you. No value, wrong, wrong, wrong, you are the rarest jewel. Only one of you, bling bling.
Yes, we are children of U.S. Slaves and in the US there was an very cruel application of slavery. We come from a culture of slavery from the Continent's tribal wars, Africa is a European name for the person, who claimed they discovered a new land, somebody Africanus. So what, in the US and throughout the world , we have made tremendous contributions to the world. yet, nobody owes us. (except the repriations issues, that we have yet demanded or as I say direct via our own financial choices.) Yahweh provides and we can invest.
We are not multiple races we are one race the human race. That's the truth in Life, not in the study of Biology, and of course a field of study is not a truth. My expereinces come from my perceptions and others, my choices are always mine.

American have relied on others and GOD to do their portion, Yahweh provides the manna, you have to go gather it and use it for Life. Creating mental lies to excuse our cowardice. Living in fear and doing nothing about it is the problem. Self- imposed oppression is an indivdual choice. Do what others do, leave when threaten, no excuses, "Get up, get out and do somtin," Macy Grey said. Do something...

Harriet Tubman said, I could have freed more slaves, if they only knew they were slaves." Know your slavery. Know the slavemaster and the liberator too. HaShem, Yahweh, GOD Almighty has the culture we need. Not religion games, knowledge, how did the slaves change then? It took time without an Oppressor. We need to look and read; be courageous and trust, these are two attributes unfamilar for an U.S. slave or person without a culture that protects them. We are like a Policeman in the alley of the worst hood and is out of bullets, but lost the gun anyhow. Think Think, Think, Think. Know you slavery...
It may be true that you love being a Thug or Christian, Yale Alumni, Doctor, Ambassador, it is all positive when go do positive things. TOV things, things and act of kindness that last over time.

Slave Children, S.C. new culture, please

We the children of slaves need our own supplementary constitution, a real
statement of freedom. I hear the terms applied so mindlessly, Leadership, New Leadership,
these are signs of an uncultured people. Basically, what is being said, by the
"new this or that" is we have no leaders we trust. This is not the
truth. We have free men now; we have a few. Do we have an idea, a clue, some
insightful tip, that we can trust and directed us to protective action. Or at
least document our perspective. I'm not Islamic, but the Muslim culture in
America, has been the only consistent message of personal liberation in my
times. Additionally, there is a history of action, public education, Mohammed Speaks,
a more truthful record of issues, business and investment, it only trickles out
to the community though. It's time to update our culture by these similar

I'll define culture as, the set
of ideas that are so trustworthy people do it naturally and they succeed at
Life and are able to sponsor the "new life, a different type of  life" for their descendents. Obama has
done this for our generation and tomorrows.

      There is a prevailing attitude
about expectations from external people. This is from our slave culture. Okay,
no problem as long as we accept it for what it really is, it is a choice to
believe in that idea. What is helpful is to separate our heritage from our
mindset. As Mason Weaver says, " is okay to leave the plantation, also
I say, "... it is better to unify and purchase the plantation." We
have to control something, we respect, a thing that provides pride, like the
Jet magazine. All I have seen in the pages is things that show a beautiful me,
educated me, successful Slave’s Children. We identify with a thing that uplifts
us. Jet and the Johnson legacy has uplifted the slaves children and directed
many to

Currently and precariously, this is the basis of our relationship to the
Democratic party. We look to the government, our President to do something specific,
we haven't allowed him that luxury yet. I'm sure it would make Obama proud to
sign a bill incubated by the descendents of former slaves and designed to be
rallied for by all the nation. Look all other groups and also some Slave 's
Children are making our forefathers proud. We must stop being state slaves or
federal wards, we have earned the privilege, yet not learned to capitalize on self
created opportunity, I mean creating the opportunity for our concerns and other
Slave’s children from the U.S. That's what Leaders do.

Black folks in the U.S. are
taking charge of their environment. Go TV One! Johnson! Gordy! Lee! These slave
children have shown us, we can!! Others may find roadblocks, but one minute as a
man is more than generations of cowardice and seeking acceptance from, and being
defined by others, when the truth has been heard for years. Opposition is the
job of the oppressor, he is protecting the things he created. But the free
person’s job is to create a better culture, our parents, the SCLC, marchers,
abolitionist, Civil right supporters of all colors, races, etc. understood, therefore
they stood up. Learn, Think, See, Understand, and then “Stand up!”

         Once property, educational degrees,
Banks, Stores, manufacturing centers, and pro-slave child ( US black) policy is
in place, then you can protect and support. Until then, why are protecting what
is not ours. What belong to us and we are thus responsible for is our own
neighborhoods, school, children. Start there, more hours invested in the
community. Once that's in place; then we can go outside, offering something
that we own. Then others will know that we have a culture. And it won't matter,
we are self-accepted and self-defined.

Jesse, says, when he talking to us. "We don't need a handout, and hand up.",
as James said, 35 years ago, open the door, I'll get it myself." What has
been the result, trickle down, guess what, where it trickles down to, we don't
own. Take over entertainment. We asked about former slaves in management for
the sports industry, it changed some,. Let's not stop.

In the Obama decade take charge, study, invest; SC blacks are providing
opportunity for other blacks, target having our own and then we can have a
guest at OUR house, OUR neighborhood. SELF, first, growth first, self investment
in our belief in our own ability. The examples are everywhere. Until a
conversation like that happens we are just foolin, jokin, laughin, avoiding our

Let me clarify this, we were sold a slaves by black folks from a continent
named Africa by an European. This is why it is counterproductive to ask an
"african" to understand the African title as legitimate, yet they
don't educate their descendents-us, why? No culture, no trustworthiness, why?
If you don't care about your own history, all cultures know , the black
residents, native blacks, enslaved blacks, and molded blacks, institutionalized,
blacks, and most likely to be accepted by a beige / Caucasian person black. We
are all in need of a serious review of our culture, which has failed us in the
last 40 years. We have failed ourselves in that we don't demand a successful
culture. I see it all the time the gap between the older and younger people.
Families without fathers or helpful parents.

Look at what our parents did to overcome this environment; it is fertile for
our dreams and ambitions. within each of us is a power to change the world.
Subdue the earth with love, but love your first world, first---you are the meek
that will inherit the earth meaning we will fulfill our destiny in a manner
that the Heavenly Father is pleased.

it is what freed men do

Changing the Reparations Strategy and Message.
Self- directed appraisal or tally of our specific financial actions.
For instance a call of support to the Harlem education programs or the purchase
of the Harlem Boys Choir, A Black Teachers Foundation, that stipends or
bargains advantages for our teachers?  SELF-DIRECTED REPARATIONS WE FUND. This is what freed men do. No time for asking or hating. These are bad, unwise investment of time and money.

Let's write a real constitution for us. We are decedents of
slaves living in the United States. Africa is a white term, named after
Africanus, an explorer. Many people know this and we allow a continent of our
history to be named by outsiders.  Our culture needs repaired. Yet, the free Muslim hasn't been educated to this idea.

Culture first!!!  Reparations second!!  Ownership Let’s mutually co-own Haiti. Then we
will have ownership in a country and culture. Where is that truth!!! Who’s speaking
that besides me, an Israelite?  Or do for Haiti, Puerto Rico, or Cuba, what the Jews are doing for Israel.

My story true Hollywood Story. Pt 1

It was back around 1980, I was visiting my famous cousin, L.P.
Smith in Hollywood, CA. After a few
weeks I looked for employment. I was ready to live in L.A. I was attending
classes at the Inner –City Culture Center.  A college for actors,  a Performing Arts school like the one in Fame.
To my surprise and utter disbelief, there
were hundreds of Leroys and young, Lena Hornes so much talent and not enough
work for them all. Although Marco, did get a job with Miami Vice. The Center held
court with Norman Lear and Stevie Wonder when we did the  all a cappella play called , Seasons Reasons.  Despite living it up at the theatre, I
responded to a call for Extras for a movie.

      This was my
first time being in a real film production. The director was John Landis and he
was filming, have guess it?-The Blues
movie.  Inside watching the
creative process of the director was exhilarating. All for 35.00 a day and a
box lunch, I was living the Hollywood dream. We sat in the sun at the Hollywood
Palladium, sharing stories and cocktails during the repositioning of the
cameras for the scene for other star like, John Candy and Henry Gibson.

The eruption of this iconic film was leaking out as John
Landis , spoke about filming the car crash in Chicago and watching Aretha Franklin
and James Brown perform, I was not star struck or blown away. That’s one of the
fact of life, we seldom get the big picture while in the scene, that’s movie
talk.  Day one, it was singing Minnie the
Moocher with Cab Calloway, hidee,  hidee,
de hos, a lot of them.  I was being paid to party with a legend. I was
too impressed by the end of the first day. And we all were invited to return
with more people.  I did.

The second day was the filming of the opening of the
concert. Dan Akyrod was flawless in his delivery. John was played by a gymnast,
who flipped several times during the shoots. We sang Sweet Home Chicago and I
want you.  During the filming review John
Landis, asked us to sing and point and actually change the original way the
song designed to be done. The timing was critical to match the song lyric and
chorus. We did it four time no problem.

During a break, I noticed John Bulushi walking across the
stage, I like many was a big fan.  There
I was star struck. “Live and in living color” as they would say. I didn’t see
the security guard until I had already called out to John and raised my hand.  He stopped a turned. The guard stepped to intercept
me. In the true Belushi form, he wave the guard off, with a “Aaaauggh”,  I shook John Belushi’s hand. I told him, I
loved his work. He acknowledged my statement, and moseyed back to the rest of
the cast. This was a year or so before his death.  It is a limit group of people that met him
before he passed away. I was one.

loving ourselves

We neglect the Earth because, we neglect ourselves.  We pollute the earth because, we accept polluting our own body. Where do we begin and how do we begin to love the body we are in and the air we breath?
Could you imagine the earth with "Breathing Air for Sale" signs? "Water filtered $7.00 a cup." Money will be really important then. The havenots will be more poverty, people will be too poor to live.
As an event coordinator in the GREEN, ECO technology field, it can seem that green is another sales pitch buzzword. although it may be so, the fact is going green is a mandatory change for Society. America going green is a reality, a choice, a great campign for now. North America may be moving to the forefront with earth friendly production, in the near future, it will require of all citizens to think greener, bluer, redder, cleaner and clearer.  Because all of Earth's citizens  have to learn to love themselves.  Really Really, not like in the sense of hugging a tree, but in the sense this makes...if there were no trees...what kind of planet will that be? What kind of gift to me is a greener planet? We need innovation in our questions. We need greener mindset because it is a healthy, self loving thing to do.
I believe it is as necessary to conserve and recycle for our own peace of mind. If not there is a sense of pending dome, if we try to ignore the healthiness of our water, air, and soil. Our time on earth is based on the condition of the environments we live and raise our children.  The relation is between each of us and our own greenest potential; our ability to really love the earth from which we were created.
As we hear about other places in the world having diseases and no water or food, it  lies on a continuum where we all stand. Our global attitude must be inclusive and must change. The old adage about the buttery fly effect is true, we all impact each other.
